Istnieje wiele powodów wydania niniejszej publikacji. Między innymi stosunkowo rzadkie w języku polskim opracowania na temat językoznawstwa i literaturoznawstwa wietnamskiego. W dziedzinie językoznawstwa na uwagę zwłaszcza zasługuje problematyka glottodydaktyki skoncentrowanej na nauczaniu języka wietnamskiego jako języka drugiego oraz obcego. Innym powodem jest z pewnością interdyscyplinarność zamieszczonych w zbiorze artykułów, która w dziedzinie badań społecznych i humanistycznych jest źródłem wielu interesujących dokonań naukowych.

W praktyce tekst podzielony został na trzy części. Pierwsza poświęcona została komunikacji międzykulturowej i nauczaniu kultury, taki także nosi tytuł. Część druga obejmuje teksty poświęcone metodom nauczania języka i językoznawstwu.Zbiór zamykają szkice noszące wspólny tytuł Język wietnamski w perspektywie aktów mowy, leksyki i komunikacji międzykulturowej. 

Có nhiều lý do để chúng tôi xuất bản tuyển tập chuyên đề này. Trong đó có thể kể đến tình trạng tương đối khan hiếm các công trình nghiên cứu bằng tiếng Ba Lan về ngôn ngữ học và các nghiên cứu về văn học Việt Nam. Trong lĩnh vực ngôn ngữ học, cần một sự đặc biệt quan tâm tới các vấn đề thuộc lĩnh vực giảng dạy ngoại ngữ, tập trung vào việc giảng dạy tiếng Việt như ngôn ngữ thứ hai và ngoại ngữ. Một lý do hiển nhiên khác đó là tính liên ngành của các bài viết được tuyển chọn trong tuyển tập này mà tính chất kết hợp kiến thức này vốn là nguồn gốc của nhiều thành tựu khoa học thú vị trong lĩnh vực khoa học xã hội và nhân văn.

Ấn phẩm được chia thành ba phần. Phần thứ nhất trình bày về lĩnh vực giao tiếp liên văn hóa và công tác giảng dạy văn hóa, đồng thời đó cũng chính là tiêu đề của phần này. Phần thứ hai tập trung vào các phương pháp giảng dạy ngôn ngữ và ngôn ngữ học; ban biên tập cũng sử dụng chủ để này làm tiêu đề cho phần hai. Cuối cùng, phần ba là tập hợp các bài nghiên cứu mang chủ đề chung về khám phá tiếng Việt qua hành vi ngôn ngữ, từ vựng và giao tiếp liên văn hóa.

There are many reasons for publishing the present volume. Among them is the relative scarcity of works in Polish devoted to Vietnamese linguistics and literary studies. In the field of linguistics, particular attention should be paid to issues related to the teaching of Vietnamese as a second and foreign language. Another important reason is undoubtedly the interdisciplinary nature of the articles collected in this volume, which will prove a source of many valuable and inspiring scholarly achievements in the social sciences and humanities.

For practical reasons, the volume has been divided into three parts. The first part, as its title indicates, is devoted to intercultural communication and the teaching of culture. The second part of the volume is devoted to language teaching methods and linguistics. The volume concludes with a collection of studies under the common heading The Vietnamese Language from the Perspective of Speech Acts, Lexis, and Intercultural Communication.
